The FAB&PP Poem of the Month for December 2005

GLIMPSES
(by which poetry is defined as)

two Decembers
ago (three
winters) in the
constant chatter
of starlight
and cold the
ending was
observed
                lost
and the beginning
finally
took a breath

++++++++

walking to work
holding their
cups like
votive
candles

++++++++

circling birds
rattling ladders
distant
trains
yellow
flashers

+++++++++

found phrases
that
accompany
found
moments
a
lost
art
