| the way the clear clean sunlight streaming through different windows in the silence of the early morning reveals the crumbs and dust motes the cobwebs of neglect, the vast spiderwebs dancing on the surface of the high walls |
walking along the beach parking lot tracks in the sand at the edge of the asphalt ducks and dogs snakes and snails cigarette butts and children's sneakers the rip-rap at the pathway to the marsh back and forth is a circle all the same |
