The FAB&PP Poem of the Month for January 2023

this morning
i had trouble
getting the shoe
trees out
of my new
shoes

am i getting too
old and weak or
are the shoes
too tight

i wonder

last night i
had trouble rolling
my trash cans
to the curb

am i getting too
old or do i
have to give up
on wine

[among other things]

i wonder

tomorrow
i might keel
over stepping
into my
underwear

so the question
might arise
is it worth
it

i wonder
